Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Settlr (“Settlr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of users who access or use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, web application, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using Settlr, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. About Settlr

Settlr is a marketplace platform that connects individuals seeking assistance with independent service providers (“Guides”) who offer relocation support, home services, assistance services, and other local services. Settlr provides the technology platform that allows users and Guides to discover, communicate, schedule, and manage services.

Messages and User Content

When users communicate or share content through Settlr, we process messages, uploaded images, documents where applicable, reviews, booking information, and other user-generated content. This information is necessary to provide communication, marketplace, and booking functionality.

Location Information

Device location. Settlr only requests access to your device’s GPS location when you explicitly choose the “Use current location” feature. We do not continuously track your location and we do not maintain a history of your GPS location.

User-provided location. You may provide cities, countries, addresses, and service or booking locations as part of using the Services. Booking addresses and associated coordinates may be retained as part of booking records.

Location information is used to provide marketplace, booking, and service-location functionality.

Payment Information

Payment and data processing differs by marketplace:

  • U.S. Connection: Settlr does not process the underlying service payment. The service price is agreed and arranged directly between the Settler and the Guide; only the separate Guide Connection Fee is paid through Settlr.
  • European Managed: Settlr facilitates in-app managed payments and Guide payouts through Stripe.

Where payments are processed, they are processed by Stripe. Settlr does not store full payment card numbers or CVV information. Stripe processes payment information and supports Guide payout and onboarding functionality.

Device and Usage Information

Settlr processes only limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the Services, such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and security logs. Our infrastructure providers may automatically process similar technical information when you interact with the Services. This information is not used for usage analytics, behavioral advertising, or cross-app tracking.
